SMS Alert

SMS Alert delivers critical alarm information in the form of Short Message Service (SMS). it utilises SMS messages, a fast and interactive way, to notify you of every alarm event. The alarm SMS messages can be sent to a set of pre-defined mobile number.

Typical applications for SMS Alert are found with alerting of alarms.  Hence we  have implemented such applications with burglar alarm system as well as environmental monitoring such as clean room and UPS monitoring.

There are two ways to implement SMS Alert:

• subscribing to an SMS Alert Service
• installing GSM SMS Alert Module to your system 

Subscribing to an SMS Alert Service is easy and does not involve installing any other equipment to your existing system.  Your burglar alarm system can be programmed to dial out to the SMS Alert Service number, where a dedicated server will decode your system's transmission and sent you a SMS message.

Alternatively, you can install a GSM SMS Alert Module to your existing system, purchase your SIM Card from your mobile provider, and start receiving SMS Alert on your mobile.  The difference in the two is a matter of costs - ongoing subscription cost versus one time purchase and the topping up of your SIM Card.
