While the control panels may be the brains, without the right sensors at the right location, the burglar alarm panel would be ineffective. Hence it is important to choose the right type of sensor for the right application. Below wee present some of the more commonly used sensors. A. Door and Window Contacts

Door and Windows contacts allow you to protect vulnerable entry points. Each sensor features a magnetic seal that detects the opening or closing of a window or door.
