A Malaysian Access Control Brand With a Strong Singapore Track Record
EntryPass Corporation was founded in Malaysia in 2002 and awarded MSC (Multimedia Super Corridor) pioneer status by the Malaysian government in 2003. They develop and manufacture networked access control systems: controllers, software, time attendance terminals, elevator control, car park integration, and visitor management: and have established a significant Singapore presence alongside their Malaysian home market. Their N-series networked controllers are widely installed across Singapore commercial buildings, offices, and industrial premises.
EntryPass gained its Singapore foothold during a period when the alternatives were either expensive western brands or early-stage Chinese products that had not yet established a reliability track record. As a regional Malaysian manufacturer: geographically close, with English-language support and a local distribution network: EntryPass offered a practical middle-ground: more affordable than Lenel or Software House, more familiar to Singapore engineers than emerging Chinese brands. Many Singapore buildings installed EntryPass systems during the 2000s and 2010s, and Securevision continues to service and expand a significant number of these installations. For new projects today, we recommend ZKTeco as our primary access control platform: the combination of biometric depth, competitive pricing, and a comprehensive management platform is difficult to match. For existing EntryPass installations, we are fully equipped to service, expand, and support them.
Securevision Scope
Securevision installs and services EntryPass N-series networked access control systems: controllers, door stations, elevator control modules, and the EntryPass Platform 1 management software. We also integrate EntryPass controllers with Suprema biometric readers where clients require fingerprint or face recognition at the door. For new access control projects, we recommend ZKTeco. If you have an existing EntryPass system requiring expansion, maintenance, or integration with a CCTV or alarm system, contact us directly.
What Made EntryPass Popular in Singapore
EntryPass built its Singapore market position on reliability, regional support, and a willingness to integrate with third-party biometric readers: giving installers flexibility that more proprietary systems could not offer.
Third-Party Reader Integration: Suprema Compatibility
One of EntryPass's practical advantages over more proprietary systems is its openness to third-party readers. EntryPass controllers work with Suprema biometric readers: FaceStation, BioStation, and BioEntry series: allowing the access controller and the biometric reader to be specified independently. A client who wants enterprise-grade Suprema fingerprint accuracy at the door can use an EntryPass controller at the panel. This flexibility is one reason Securevision has specified EntryPass for projects requiring high-quality biometric verification alongside a familiar management platform.
Complete Building Integration: Elevator, Car Park, and Visitor
EntryPass covers more than door access. Their platform includes elevator access control (restricting which floors a credential can reach), car park barrier integration, guard tour management, and visitor management: all managed from the same Platform 1 software. For Singapore commercial buildings where the brief includes lift access restriction alongside door control, EntryPass has native support for this without requiring a separate elevator access controller. This integrated scope contributed to its adoption across multi-tenanted commercial buildings in Singapore.
Proven Reliability: Long Singapore Installed Base
EntryPass systems installed in Singapore during the 2000s and 2010s continue to operate reliably. Securevision maintains and services a significant number of these installations: panels, door stations, and elevator modules that have been running for ten or more years without hardware replacement. For building owners and facilities managers with long-established EntryPass systems, the practical question is not whether to replace a working system but whether to expand it. Securevision can do both: expand existing EntryPass installations and advise honestly on when a migration to a more current platform makes financial sense.
SECUREβ’ Integration
EntryPass controllers connect to Hikvision NVR systems for access-linked CCTV bookmarking: an access denied event at an EntryPass door station triggers a timestamped clip on the nearest camera. For buildings where Suprema biometric readers are paired with EntryPass controllers, the biometric verification happens at the Suprema reader and the access decision is relayed to the EntryPass panel: combining Suprema's recognition accuracy with EntryPass's door management infrastructure.
EntryPass Systems We Work With
The EntryPass N-series networked controllers are the most common systems Securevision encounters for service and expansion work in Singapore.
N-Series Networked Controllers
The EntryPass networked door access controller range: N5100, N5200, N5400, N6200, N6400 series. TCP/IP networked, supporting multiple doors per controller, card and PIN credentials, time zones, and anti-passback. Managed via Platform 1 software.
Platform 1 Software
EntryPass's access control management software: covering door access, time attendance, elevator control, and visitor management. Multi-door, multi-site capable. Used across Singapore commercial buildings for centralised access management.
Considering an Upgrade?
If your EntryPass system is ageing, the software feels outdated, or you need capabilities the platform cannot support, a migration to ZKTeco or Suprema may be worth assessing. Existing cabling, door hardware, and EM locks can typically be reused. We can advise on the right path.
