In Short

Security Problems Solved - Not Systems Installed

Over the past two decades, Securevision has delivered security projects across condominiums, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, institutions, healthcare environments, data centres, managed living properties, and private residences. These projects demonstrate how different organisations solved operational challenges through practical security design, system integration, and long-term technology planning.

Most visitors to this portfolio begin by looking for projects similar to their property type. That is a reasonable starting point - but the most relevant project is usually the one with the closest operational challenge, not necessarily the same property type. A condominium facing intercom failure and a hostel facing the same problem share more design considerations than a condominium and a data centre with the same floor area. Use the filters below to narrow by property type, system, or keyword - or browse the full portfolio and identify what resonates.

Explore by Situation

Most developments do not start with a new system - they start with a problem. Find the situation closest to yours.

Obsolete or Failing Intercom

Systems no longer working reliably, causing inconvenience to residents and visitors.

Slow Vehicle Clearance at Entry

Queues forming during peak hours? Manual checks slowing entry and frustrating residents?

Ageing System Due for Upgrade

Existing hardware beyond its service life - increasing failure frequency and maintenance costs.

Most Properties Face Similar Challenges

Security systems are often installed over time - resulting in outdated equipment, disconnected systems, and increasing operational inefficiencies. These projects show how different developments addressed these challenges in practical ways.

Expert Advisory

What We Have Learned Across Projects

1

Infrastructure First: Many intercom and CCTV failures are infrastructure problems - wiring, voltage, or network - not hardware failures. We assess the backbone before specifying any replacement equipment.

2

The Fragmentation Cost: Disconnected systems create more operational burden than the sum of their parts. Consolidating interfaces usually pays for itself in guard efficiency within the first year.

3

Design Over Devices: Better visibility comes from better camera positioning and angle selection - not from adding more cameras. Strategic placement consistently outperforms raw device count.

4

The Cheap Fix Is Usually the Expensive Fix: Short-term patchwork on end-of-life systems consistently creates larger replacement costs within two to three years. The upgrade decision made too late is rarely the cost-effective one.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions we hear from property managers evaluating a security upgrade or comparing providers.

How do I find projects similar to mine?

Use the property type filter to narrow projects to your sector, or use the system type filter if you already know what you need to improve. The search box finds projects by keyword - try searching for the specific challenge you are facing, such as "intercom", "LPR", "CCTV upgrade", or "access control". The most useful project is often the one with the closest operational challenge rather than the same property type.

Can existing security systems be upgraded rather than fully replaced?

Often yes. Most of the projects in this portfolio involve upgrading or extending existing systems rather than replacing everything from scratch. IP cameras in adequate condition, existing cabling, and managed network infrastructure can often be retained. What typically needs replacing is legacy analogue CCTV, outdated DVR recorders, and access control systems that cannot produce searchable digital records. We assess existing infrastructure reuse potential during the site survey before any scope is agreed.

How long do these projects typically take?

It depends on the property type and scope. A residential landed home takes one day. A condominium estate upgrade with intercom, access control, and CCTV typically takes one to three weeks. A large commercial or industrial project with extensive cabling takes three to six weeks. For occupied properties we phase the work to maintain full operations throughout and present a phased schedule as part of every proposal.

What types of properties does Securevision work with?

The portfolio covers residential landed homes, condominiums and managed estates, commercial buildings and offices, industrial facilities and logistics hubs, institutions including schools and government offices, healthcare facilities including nursing homes, managed living properties including worker dormitories, and data centres. Use the property type filter above to explore any sector.

Can multiple security systems be integrated into one platform?

Yes - system integration is central to what we do. Most of the projects in this portfolio involve connecting CCTV, access control, intercom, and vehicle management into a single management platform. The VESTA platform manages condominiums and managed estates. HikCentral and ZKTeco CVSecurity handle commercial and industrial multi-system deployments. The management platform is specified as part of the initial design, not added as an afterthought.

Does Securevision support systems after installation?

Yes. Several projects in this portfolio represent ongoing partnerships spanning multiple years - including properties where we completed the initial installation and have returned for upgrades, expansions, and maintenance. Annual maintenance contracts, warranty management, and a direct support line to the team that built the system are available for all installations. Systems we install are systems we support.

Not Sure Where Your System Stands?

Whether systems are fragmented, ageing, or no longer aligned with daily operations - we can help assess the situation clearly and identify a practical way forward.
