How these figures are estimated. Bandwidth is derived from reference bitrates of approximately 1 Mbps per megapixel for H.264 at medium scene complexity and 15 fps: consistent with Hikvision and Seagate operational defaults. H.265 applies a 50% reduction; H.265+ (Smart codec) approximately 65%. Frame rate scales sub-linearly. Storage uses 1 Mbps continuous ≈ 0.45 GB/hour. Capacities in decimal units (1 TB = 1,000 GB). These are planning estimates: real figures vary with scene activity, camera firmware, and bitrate mode. For a guaranteed specification, request a proposal.
