For Gates and Outdoor Use
Electric Rim Locks are surface mounted locks. For most of our applications, this lock is affixed to the surface of side gates. The side gate can be controlled using door access controllers or can be opened manually with mechanical keys.
Some RIM Locks comes with a spring-loaded tongue. On release, the tongue will be released and push the gate ajar. In many applications, the lock has a built-in buzzer. The buzzing noise is the result of applying current to the coil and is used to indicate to the user that the door is opened.
Other RIM locks may have a retractable tongue. In these cases, the door remains in its position.
We also carry cabinet locks and electric catches.
